Engineered exclusively for .300 Blackout, this 265 gr DS Special bullet is the perfect blend of mass, smooth feeding, and clean shooting. Cast from certified 92-6-2 lead alloy, coated in ACME’s red Hi‑Tek, and sized to .310″, it features a 1.375″ bullet length with an overall loaded length of 2.12″—stable and accurate in 8-twist barrels.

The 265 grain DS Special was designed from the ground up for the 300 Blackout.

The DS Special is a heavy bullet and can therefore be loaded with less gun powder. Less gun powder can result in less gas in your silencer and a sound quieter.

It has been optimized to use gun powders typically used when loading the 300 Blackout. This was done to ensure proper case fill which can be important to accuracy.

The 265 grain DS Special will feed in most AR’s when loaded to an OAL of 2.12″. The bullet is 1.375″ long, weighs 265 grains and is stable in 8 twist and faster barrels at subsonic velocities.

When loading, ensure the case mouth has an adequate bell otherwise the coating could be stripped off during loading.

These lead cast bullets are made from certified 92-6-2 alloy with a Brinell Hardness of 16 and are then coated in HiTek coating. The Hi TEK coating molecularly bonds to the bullet totally encapsulating it to prevent lead to bore contact.
